Fred the Foot – an explanation!
Andrew picked up the nickname “Fred” on a school bus trip when he was seven. It stuck – so well that his school reports were addressed to Dr and Mrs Fred – and when he became a foot surgeon, his colleagues carried the joke on.

Andrew “Fred” Robinson BSc, FRCS (Orth) is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Cambridge, with a special interest in foot and ankle surgery. He trained in Cambridge, France and the United States.
His interest covers all of foot surgery, in particular forefoot reconstruction, tendon problems, sports injuries and ankle replacement.
